Co-founder Morgan’s journey began in the limelight at a young age, gaining attention at just 17 years old when he was involved in a notorious incident during a 2013 match between Chelsea and Swansea City. During the game, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard attempted to dispossess Morgan, leading to a controversial moment where Hazard kicked out while trying to reach the ball. Unfortunately, the kick made contact with Morgan instead of the ball.
The incident took place at the Liberty Stadium and ended with Hazard receiving a red card. Although Hazard later issued an apology, the event sparked considerable discussion among fans, players, and football analysts about who bore responsibility for the altercation. This moment marked a memorable chapter early in Morgan’s life.
Fast forward ten years, and Morgan’s success had grown considerably in the business world. He and Hazard reunited for a lighthearted YouTube video, where the pair shared laughs over the infamous incident. Alongside his business partner Quinn, Morgan adopted a focused and determined attitude towards their enterprise, moving beyond the celebrity glitz often associated with startups.
Au Vodka, their brand, quickly capitalized on the surge in popularity of ready-to-drink beverages following the pandemic. It rapidly climbed the ranks to become the second-best selling brand in the UK, trailing only behind BuzzBallz. Looking ahead in 2025, Morgan revealed plans to expand aggressively into the American market, recognizing there was still significant potential for growth. He noted in a 2024 interview, “If you asked a 25-year-old target market consumer in America, would they know Au? Probably not yet… there’s still so many more people who don’t know about us. And I think we’re still driven to try and take over the world a little bit more.”
