RIIZE announce first mini-album ‘RIIZING’, out in June

RIIZE, the K-pop boyband, recently announced their debut mini-album called ‘RIIZING’ which is scheduled for a June release. The band has also planned to release several singles in the intervening months leading up to the release of their mini-album. Promotions started on April 3 with the release of a full version of their pre-debut teaser ‘Siren.’

The group is set to release four more songs in the coming months before the release of their album. On April 18, they will release a single called ‘Impossible’ followed by three B-sides from the upcoming project – ‘9 Days,’ ‘Honestly,’ and ‘One Kiss’ – in late April.

The mini-album will be released in full sometime in June, and pre-orders are set to begin in May. Before releasing the mini-album, the boyband is planning their ‘RIIZING Day’ fan-con world tour which is set to take place in Korea, the US, and other locations.

The article notes that it is unclear if the RIIZE member Seunghan, who has been on an indefinite hiatus since November 2023, will return to the group in the coming year. Consequently, Seunghan’s vocals won’t be included in the entire release of ‘Siren.’

‘RIIZING’ will mark the group’s second music release of 2024 following their single ‘Love 119’ in January. It is the third single following their debut with ‘Get A Guitar’ in September 2023 and ‘Talk Saxy’ in October 2023.

In related K-pop news, Big Band’s G-Dragon is set to make his return to music in the second half of 2024, which will be his first solo release in about seven years since he released his self-titled EP ‘Kwon Ji-yong’ in 2017 and his first since leaving YG Entertainment
