NxWorries, the musical duo made up of Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge, have recently announced their second studio album, ‘Why Lawd?’. The album is expected to be released on June 7th through Stones Throw. While there isn’t much information surrounding their upcoming project, including the tracklisting and cover art, the duo has stated that more information will be shared “soon”.

Meanwhile, the duo has dropped their latest single, 86Sentra, along with an official visualizer to accompany it. The single features a slick, smooth beat from Knxwledge with .Paak delivering lyrics about being on par with some of rap’s best. In the past, NxWorries have had a notable track record of collaborations, showcasing their unique style and eclectic production.

NxWorries first formed in 2015 after .Paak and Knxwledge released their first track together, Suede, on SoundCloud. Their debut album, ‘Yes Lawd!’, which was released in 2016, showcased NxWorries as a formidable force in their own right. The album scored a four-star review from NME, with Jordan Bassett stating, “This is a very well-crafted album that succeeds on its terms.”

In 2022, NxWorries made their comeback with the single, Where I Go, featuring vocals from H.E.R., their first song together since 2016. ‘Where I Go’ arrived after .Paak had first teased an upcoming album for NxWorries back in January 2022. However, it’s currently unknown if ‘Where I Go’ will be included in ‘Why Lawd?’.

Before their upcoming release, Anderson .Paak had previously dropped an album with Bruno Mars under the name Silk Sonic. With ‘Why Lawd?’ NxWorries is poised to make a splash and distinguish themselves in the music industry once again
