Leeds-based event, truelove., has announced its upcoming party at Sheaf Street in the city center, featuring the iconic Glaswegian duo Optimo. The party is being held on September 29, where Optimo will be performing all night long. The founders of truelove. have a vision of bringing artists to Leeds that may often be overlooked for bigger-room names.
Co-founder Elliot Holt stated: “Myself and Conor have seen Optimo together countless times over the years, and we’ve long wanted to have them at one of our events.” Holt also mentioned that he was lucky enough to play before them previously and has a vivid memory of Jonnie opening the set with Henrik Schwarz – ‘Not Also You’.
Founded in 2017, truelove. is a passion project with a purist approach, putting quality music in mind first and providing a platform for local talent, creating a space for like-minded people to “dance and be free”. The event is known for its previous successful bookings, featuring Man Power, John Talabot, HAAi, Dr. Rubinstein, and Tia Cousins.
