The Metropolitan Police have confirmed the arrest of two men on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a man’s body concealed inside a suitcase in a wooded area.
Authorities were initially alerted to a possible homicide at a block of flats located on Kingfisher Court, off Queensmere Road in Wandsworth, just before 11 pm on Thursday. When officers arrived, they did not find anyone at the scene, but their subsequent investigation suggested that an individual might have been injured on the premises, prompting a full inquiry.
The following day, two men aged 27 and 32 presented themselves at Medway police station in Gillingham, Kent, and were taken into custody. Shortly after their arrest, the police located the deceased man’s body in a forested section of Borstal.
