A fatal skydiving accident involving a young woman occurred near an airfield in Nottinghamshire. Emergency responders arrived at the location close to Langar Airfield shortly after 12:13 BST on Sunday.
The 22-year-old woman was discovered in a field nearby and was declared dead at the scene, according to Nottinghamshire Police. Authorities have notified her family and are providing them with support during this difficult time.
No additional injuries were reported in relation to the event. The police confirmed that a report will be compiled and submitted to the coroner for further examination.
