Mum to explore Caroline Flack's life in documentary

A new documentary will delve into the final months of the late TV presenter Caroline Flack’s life. Produced by Curious Films, the film will be called Caroline and will feature interviews with members of Flack’s family and friends, including her mother Christine Flack. The documentary will explore Flack’s career, her mental health, and her life leading up to her tragic death in February 2020 at the age of 40.

Flack was best known for presenting the reality show Love Island on ITV and also worked as a presenter on The X Factor and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. In 2014, she won Series 12 of Strictly Come Dancing, achieving a perfect score in the final show. The documentary aims to provide clarity and understanding for everyone who cared about Flack.

Flack’s mental health had deteriorated while facing trial accused of assaulting her boyfriend. According to her mother, there are still many unanswered questions about what happened in Flack’s final months, and the documentary will take a challenging look into her life. Christine Flack hopes that exploring her daughter’s life will bring some form of resolution to the tragic events surrounding her death.

Curious Films previously produced Caroline Flack: Her Life And Death shown on Channel 4 in 2021. The new documentary will be released later this year on Disney+. Dov Freedman, the film’s executive producer at Curious Films, hopes to collaborate with the Flack family once again to seek some form of resolution to Flack’s tragic death
