Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors has confirmed his continued support for Drake, despite the high-profile feud between the Canadian rapper and Kendrick Lamar earlier in the year. The feud saw Lamar name-drop Curry in his track ‘Meet The Grahams’, referencing accusations of paedophilia made against Drake: “Hey, Curry, keep the family away / To anybody that embodies the love for the kids, keep the family away / They lookin’ at you too if you standin’ by him, keep the family away.” Speaking to GQ magazine, Curry stated that he is still a “big Drake guy” and has been for many years.
Drake has not let the feud slow him down, continuing to remain active and collaborate with other artists. He recently appeared on two new songs from Gordo’s new album ‘Diamante’, ‘Sideways’ and ‘Healing’. Additionally, Drake shared a large amount of data containing three new songs, including “It’s Up”, which features Young Thug, “Housekeeping Knows”, which takes on a dancier vibe and features Latto, and “Blue Green Red”, a slower club tune without any features.
Outside of music, Drake’s home has had its fair share of headlines this year. A man attempting to break into the building was arrested, just a day after a shooting took place outside the residence, which appeared on the cover of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’. Additionally, his home flooded following torrential rain in Toronto.
