Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett have returned in the fourth installment of the Bad Boys franchise, titled Bad Boys: Ride or Die. The film is directed by the duo Adil & Bilall, who also directed the previous movie, Bad Boys For Life. In the latest chapter, the two detectives are on the run, attempting to solve a case of corruption in the Miami PD.
Not only do Will Smith and Martin Lawrence star in the movie as the iconic detectives, but the cast also features a range of other well-known actors. These include Vanessa Hudgens, Joe Pantoliano, Alexander Ludwig, and DJ Khaled, who are all reprising their previous roles. Additionally, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, Melanie Liburd, and Tiffany Haddish join the cast.
The movie’s score is composed by Scottish composer Lorne Balfe, known for his work on Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, and The Lego Batman Movie. He also worked with the directors of Bad Boys: Ride or Die on the previous installment of the franchise. The film includes an original track called “Tonight” by the Black Eyed Peas and El Alfa, as well as other songs by various artists.
