Following a break from hosting the festival in 2026, the organizers of the Glastonbury Festival have announced that tickets for the 2027 event will be available for purchase in October. The cost for a weekend ticket is set at £408, which includes a £5 booking fee per ticket, representing an increase of £29.50 compared to prices from 2025.
While the names of the headline performers have not yet been revealed, speculation is rife. Potential headliners garnering attention include Harry Styles, Fontaines D.C., Taylor Swift, and Stevie Wonder. Given the festival’s immense popularity, tickets typically sell out within an hour, with thousands of fans queuing virtually to secure their spots.
The official Glastonbury Instagram page has shared details about the ticket sale schedule. Tickets bundled with coach travel will become available at 18:00 BST on Thursday, 1 October. General admission tickets without travel arrangements will then go on sale at 09:00 BST on Sunday, 4 October. In an ongoing effort to combat ticket touting, attendees are required to register in advance, with the festival offering a system to verify registration status online.
Previously, tickets for the 2025 festival, headlined by Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, and Neil Young, were in extremely high demand. Recently, Glastonbury co-organizer Emily Eavis addressed rumors about Madonna headlining the 2027 event, firmly denying them. Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s The Media Show, she said, “No, it’s definitely not Madonna, I’ll tell you that.” She added that there are three confirmed headliners and expressed enthusiasm about how everything is coming together.
