Authorities have initiated an inquiry following the mysterious death of a child found in a woodland area. Emergency responders were alerted around 08:45 BST on Saturday after receiving reports that a child was in cardiac arrest near Strawberry Lane in Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire.
Staffordshire Police confirmed that an air ambulance was deployed to assist at the scene. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the child was declared deceased shortly after arriving. At this stage, the police have not released the child’s age or additional details surrounding the circumstances.
