Liverpool’s first outdoor Night Market comes to St George’s Hall

Liverpool is set to host its inaugural outdoor Night Market at the iconic St George’s Hall later this month. This event will take place on Thursday, 27 August, from 2:30 pm until 8:30 pm, transforming the hall’s plateau into a lively marketplace. Around 40 artisan vendors will be present, offering a diverse range of locally crafted goods, such as food, sweets, handmade arts and crafts, jewellery, gifts, and more.

In addition to browsing the unique stalls, attendees can enjoy refreshments from the Portico Bar at St George’s Hall, which will remain open throughout the evening. Visitors will also be treated to a special performance by the Liverpool Signing Choir, who will sing from the steps of the hall, adding a musical highlight to the atmosphere.

That same evening, there will be an exclusive opportunity to experience the hall’s renowned Minton tiled floor during the Night on the Tiles event. Guests will have the rare chance to walk across this exquisite Victorian masterpiece while enjoying a complimentary drink. This unique experience is designed to offer a memorable and intimate encounter with one of Liverpool’s architectural treasures.

Tickets for Night on the Tiles are priced at £14.95. Each ticket grants access to the Minton floor and includes a complimentary beverage, which can be a glass of fizz, wine, a bottle of beer, or a premium soft drink. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Ticket Quarter or on the night at the Portico Bar, subject to availability. For additional details on both the Night Market and Night on the Tiles, visitors are encouraged to check the Liverpool City Halls website
