A 72-year-old woman was discovered with stab wounds at a residence in Swadlincote, leading to the arrest of a man on suspicion of murder. The incident took place on The Crest in Linton, with Derbyshire Police responding promptly after being alerted shortly after 14:30 BST on Sunday.
