A celebration of Father’s Day

Residents of Liverpool are encouraged to commemorate Father’s Day this year by visiting Anfield Crematorium. On Sunday, 21 June, the crematorium will welcome visitors from 12 pm to 2 pm, providing an opportunity for quiet reflection. A brief remembrance service is scheduled to take place at 1 pm during the open hours.

This event is organized in partnership with the Good Funeral Company, and attendees will be offered refreshments. Donations made on the day will be directed to Anthony Davies Child Bereavement, supporting their important cause.

The Gardens of Remembrance at Anfield Crematorium remain accessible daily from dawn until dusk. Additionally, the Book of Remembrance can be viewed onsite between 9 am and 4:30 pm on weekends and from 8:30 am to 5 pm on weekdays. For those unable to visit in person, the book is also available online for both Anfield and Springwood locations.

Further details about Anfield Crematorium, the Books of Remembrance, and other services offered by the council’s Bereavement Services Team can be found on Liverpool City Council’s official website
