Watch: Protesters and riot police clash near home of Nowak's killer

On Tuesday night, protests erupted in Southampton in response to the killing of Henry Nowak. Riot police confronted demonstrators who had assembled to express their anger over the incident.

Henry Nowak, aged 18, was fatally stabbed while returning to his student housing in Southampton last December. The tragic event has sparked significant public outcry.

The demonstration drew hundreds of participants who initially gathered outside Southampton Central Police Station. Afterward, the crowd moved toward the vicinity of Vickrum Digwa’s family residence.

According to BBC reporter Peter Cooke, present at the scene, some protesters threw objects such as bins, bricks, and an electric scooter at the police officers during the clashes
