Molly-Mae Hague on New Year's Eve 'kiss' with Tommy Fury: 'It's complicated'

Reality TV star Molly-Mae Hague has spoken publicly for the first time since photographs of her kissing ex-fiancé, Tommy Fury, at a New Year’s Eve party circulated in the media. Hague referred to their situation as “really complicated” and emphasised that the ex-partners were doing their best in figuring things out as parents and as adults.

The couple first met while competing in Love Island in 2019 and got engaged four years later. However, they announced their split in 2023. Despite sharing a daughter called Bambi, they’ve experienced a turbulent time as a result of the break-up and have had to navigate it under the glare of the public eye.

In her first reality TV docuseries, entitled ‘Molly-Mae: Behind It All’, Hague allows fans to see aspects of her life they may not have previously witnessed. The show charts her experiences in motherhood and showcases how she copes managing her business ventures alongside raising Bambi.

Despite acknowledging that her life is publicised regularly, Hague has had to deal with constant rumours and speculation that her split was a publicity stunt or merely to boost her brand. She described her break-up with Fury as “incredibly hard,” firmly asserting she wished it was a publicity stunt because it would have made her life easier.

The first three episodes of ‘Molly-Mae: Behind It All’ aired on Amazon Prime on 17 January, followed by an additional three episodes due for release in the spring
