A man in his sixties was stopped by police in Lancashire after they found he had been driving with an expired provisional licence for 49 years. The driver was pulled over on Wigan Road in Bamber Bridge, Preston at around 10:00 GMT on Monday when the police discovered his expired licence. Additionally, checks revealed that he also had no MOT and thus the police seized his Range Rover. Lancashire Police revealed the incident in a post on Twitter.
The driver was reported and his vehicle was seized for him to face further consequences. The Lancashire police took to social media to warn drivers of the consequences of driving without proper documentation. This could endanger you, the people travelling with you, and other drivers on the road.
