Rapper Flavor Flav made an effort to help Red Lobster, which recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, by ordering the entire menu from one of the restaurant locations. He shared a photo of his table filled with dishes on his official X/Twitter account, captioned with “Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help Red Lobster and save the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, ordered the whole menu.”
According to Flavor Flav’s team, he went to the restaurant location with his daughter and almost finished the entire spread before returning home with only two boxes. He was planning on returning that same day with his son, and is reportedly scheduled to speak with Red Lobster about a possible collaboration.
Despite experiencing a $76 million loss of revenue last year, Red Lobster has promised to keep operating its 600 remaining restaurants while seeking a sale. Earlier this year, the seafood restaurant chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Flavor Flav has been making efforts to show his support for others, as he recently defended singer Jelly Roll after the latter left social media following being bullied and body-shamed.
Additionally, Flavor Flav was announced as the official sponsor for the Women’s Olympic water polo team for this year’s Summer Olympics in Paris.
