Warhorse Studios is back with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the direct sequel to their 2018 medieval role-playing game. Players will once again assume the role of peasant-turned-knight Henry in 15th century Bohemia. This time around, however, Henry will be dealing with the “problems of kings” on his quest to avenge his destroyed village. The first trailer teases large-scale sieges and urban warfare, with a much grander scope than the previous game. A few new weapons, including crossbows and primitive firearms, have also been introduced, and customization options have been expanded.

The majority of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will take place in the Bohemian city of Kuttenberg, and its full world will be two times bigger than the first game. Though it is still a first-person action RPG, the game has been written in a way that’s “perfect” for newcomers. The game will feature a persistent crime and reputation system that will change how characters treat Henry. Furthermore, everything players do in the game will be recorded, ensuring an immersive and dynamic experience.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S by the end of this year, although no exact release date has been confirmed. Warhorse Studios has promised more news in the coming months, so fans should stay tuned for more information.
