Georgia-based nightclub, TES, has recently opened Sync Music Academy. The academy operates out of TES club in Tbilisi and offers classes on DJing, production, modular composition, live performance, and post-production. According to Resident Advisor, the academy promises to provide the tools and techniques to master DJing, with access to a range of equipment for each module.

The first module currently open for registration is DJing which covers CDJ mixing, the beat structure, Rekordbox, recording sets, and more. In a post from TES club, the course also emphasizes that aspiring musicians will learn how to work with various equipment before completing the course.

TES is joining the growing trend of educational initiatives that encourage the younger generation to pursue music. Nottingham Council has recently worked on implementing DJ and music tech workshops as part of its initiative to offer more diverse programs in secondary schools.

While the Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the entertainment industry, TES’s latest endeavor shows ambition and adaptability. Through Sync Music Academy, young, aspiring artists and musicians are provided the necessary training that will enable them to potentially make a mark in the music industry.
