Nowadays, a popular nightclub in New York City, has recently announced that its 24-hour party, Nonstop, will run every weekend in 2024. Beginning on January 6th, the club will run through to Sunday evening, and sometimes Monday morning, marking the first event of Nonstop’s 2024 takeover.
The event’s lineup will include top DJs such as Kevin Saunderson, Ryan Elliott, and ISAbella, along with several other artists. The event description explains that Nonstop pulls from a variety of genres and musical scenes, making it an exciting event for music fans of all types.
Nowadays has announced every line-up for the month of January, with names including Nick León, OK Williams, Colored Craig, Physical Therapy, Ciel, Ayesha, Anthony Naples, and many others.
According to Gareth Solan, the club’s booker, Nowadays’ lease will end in 11 months, and “success with it is not guaranteed.” Solan believes that the growing appetite for extended or alternate hours, combined with the prospect of ending their lease, makes doubling down on weekly Nonstops the right thing to do.
Last month, Nowadays opened a new restaurant called The Zumbador, which offers Mexican-inspired cuisine influenced by their home of Puebla in southeast Mexico. The home-style cuisine also fuses Mexican flavors with Spanish, indigenous, and Middle Eastern influences, served alongside cocktails, beer, and a rotating wine list.
With Nonstop running until the early morning, The Zumbador will also be serving breakfast at the venue and offering coffee, smoothies, gum, and protein bars.
Nonstop first launched in 2018 and has previously hosted performances by renowned DJs such as Floating Points, Conducta, and Marcellus Pittman. Interested partygoers can check out the line-ups and get tickets to Nonstop at Nowadays by visiting their website
