In collaboration with Teksupport, Amsterdam’s DGTL Festival is gearing up to launch its debut events in the United States this winter. WhoMadeWho will headline both events with a live performance, which will take place in Los Angeles and New York.
On December 1, the New York debut will see a lineup featuring Henrik Schwarz, AMÉMÉ, Ida Engberg, and more. The next day, on December 2, the Los Angeles DGTL will feature performances from Parallelle, Shubostar, Henrik Schwarz, and Mano Le Tough.
The festival, which originated in Amsterdam, has expanded its editions across the world, including in Mumbai, Tel Aviv, Barcelona, and Madrid. The US editions’ lineup exemplifies DGTL’s forward-thinking sonic curation, featuring performances by internationally renowned artists with a diverse range of sounds, according to a festival statement.
Organized in partnership with Teksupport, the double US debut is available for presale, and tickets will go on sale on October 25. The festival continues its DGTL Safe(r) Project, targeting to create positive change for its diversity, inclusivity, and community program.
Last year, the festival was hailed as the world’s “first sustainable circular dance music festival,” as it worked with the city of Amsterdam to put in place a “doughnut economy,” waste recycling, and resource reduction. Sign up now for the DGTL New York here and DGTL Los Angeles here
