Outsider launches compilation to fundraise for Palestinian children’s relief and medical aid

A compilation album called ‘From the River to the Sea’ has been released on Bandcamp to raise money for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and Medical Aid for Palestinians. The 20-track album features a variety of genres, including acid, ambient, bass, disco, house, jungle, noise, and techno. All proceeds will be equally split between the two charities, with the exception of Bandcamp and PayPal fees.

Outsider, a queer electronic music producer, DJ, mentor, and tutor at Saffron Records, organized the album. Artists who contributed to the project include Gwero, Human Resources, Kekec, lifeisfeedback, and Outsider themselves. Outsider had previously put out a call on their Instagram account for producers to submit tracks for the album, and the response was immense.

In an Instagram post, Outsider expressed gratitude to all the contributing artists, calling for peace and solidarity while condemning the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. The release of ‘From the River to the Sea’ comes after Toumba, a producer working with Hessle Audio and Nervous Horizon, released ‘For Palestine’ in October. This album also raised funds for Medical Aid for Palestine and combined six tracks of lost files, dubs, and unreleased material.

‘From the River to the Sea’ is available for purchase on Bandcamp, and a tracklist has been provided on the album’s page. Titles include ‘Blanket,’ ‘Knafeh,’ ‘Get Up,’ ‘Screech,’ and more. The release of ‘From the River to the Sea’ is an important effort to raise awareness and support for Palestine, and the charity organizations working to support its people
