​Danny Daze announces long-awaited debut album ‘::BLUE::’

Miami-based DJ and producer Danny Daze has announced the release of his first-ever full-length album, ‘::BLUE::’, after a 25-year wait. The 90-minute continuous piece features contributions from fellow Miami artists such as Nick León, Jonny From Space, Push Button Objects, and Deroboter. It is due to drop on November 17, 2023, via Daze’s Omnidisc imprint.

“This is something I’ve always been working towards – I’ve never released an album,” says Daze of the project. “I knew what I wanted to do was have the perfect alignment when it came to my sound and what I wanted to represent in my artistry.” The album will bring together 24 years of sonic influences from Miami and beyond, resulting in a blend of ambient, bass, and skewed IDM.

In conjunction with the release, Daze has also created a 33-minute audiovisual project that will be showcased at planetariums and festivals across the United States. The project debuted at Art Basel Miami in December 2022.
