I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here has announced its lineup for the 2021 series, including politician Nigel Farage and social media star Nella Rose. Other confirmed celebrities include This Morning co-host Josie Gibson, EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, and former JLS member Marvin Humes. The full list also features actress Jamie Lynn Spears, Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard, and Masterchef guest judge Grace Dent.
Farage is following in the footsteps of former health secretary Matt Hancock, whom the public voted to take part in numerous terrifying Bushtucker trials last year. Farage says he is hoping to change the perception of him as “mean-spirited, small-minded, nasty” and is interested to see if viewers change their opinions of him during his time in the jungle. Dent, the restaurant critic for The Guardian, has expressed her concern about the food in the camp, saying she’s used to eating out four or five times a week and is “especially dreading being really hungry”.
Humes has reportedly had I’m a Celeb on his bucket list for years and is thrilled to be taking part in the show. Meanwhile, Harold, who played Lola Pearce-Brown in EastEnders, can’t wait to take on the challenges of the jungle. Despite being a relative newcomer to camping, she has promised to take it all in her stride. The show’s producers will also be hoping that Nella Rose, who has a large social media following, will help to attract younger viewers to the show.
The new series begins on 19 November, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returning as hosts. The show will once again see celebrities compete to receive the crown of King or Queen of the jungle. With an eclectic mix of stars confirmed to take part, it is sure to be an exciting series full of surprises, challenges, and plenty of drama
