PinkPantheress has revealed that she missed out on an opportunity to record a guest feature on a Kendrick Lamar song because her phone was on silent. The UK-based singer-songwriter disclosed that she was in a cinema on a date when she missed the call and thus the opportunity with Lamar. PinkPantheress has worked with Skrillex, Sam Gellaitry, Troye Sivan, Destroy Lonely, Ice Spice, and others, though she has not yet collaborated with Kendrick Lamar.
PinkPantheress is set to release her debut album, “Heaven Knows,” on November 10. The album is written and produced by PinkPantheress and features Greg Kurstin, Mura Masa, Danny L Harle, Count Baldor, Phil, and Cash Cobain. PinkPantheress said that the album is about “grief for a loss but being at peace with yourself in your aloneness. Journeying from hell into purgatory, but I’m ok with being there.”
“Capable of Love” is PinkPantheress’ new single, which is out now. The track follows last month’s release of “Mosquito.” Tickets for PinkPantheress’ tour are available, and the full list of tour dates can be found online.
