A 19-year-old man has recently been charged with wounding and violent disorder in connection with a stabbing outside of a college. This incident occurred at James Watt College in Great Barr, Birmingham on September 27th. This is the second individual to be charged as a result of the attack, following the previously charged 19-year-old from Birmingham who was charged with possessing a bladed weapon on educational premises and wounding.

A sixteen-year-old boy involved in the incident was treated and later discharged from hospital. The West Midlands Police stated that investigations are continuing and they have established an online portal for individuals with information or footage to submit.

Rion Soloman is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. The West Midlands Police have specified that investigators continue to work closely on this case, however, they warn the community to not spread rumours that could potentially escalate the current situation. The police are urging anyone with valuable information to come forward and collaborate with their inquiries.

The latest charge presents added benefits for this investigation as officials work through the case to find justice.
