After flying for about 15 minutes, it arrived at Glasgow Airport, where it remained until roughly 13:00. Following that, the plane embarked on a two-hour journey heading northeast to Newport on Tay, before returning to Glasgow.

Once back at Glasgow Airport, the aircraft was on the ground for just over an hour. It then took off again to begin what turned out to be its last flight.

Gavin Birch-Williams, managing director of Glasgow Airport, addressed the situation, stating: “We are aware of an incident involving a light aircraft that departed from Glasgow Airport.
