Raye has spoken out against ticket scalpers who, according to her, “overwhelmed” the registration system for her upcoming live concert by deploying artificial intelligence (AI) bots that generated “hundreds of thousands of fake registrations.” The singer, known for her track “Where Is My Husband!,” disclosed that approximately 1.8 million people signed up for her exclusive show at the Royal Albert Hall, which seats only 5,000 and is scheduled for 23 October.

A representative from the Royal Albert Hall commented that while they invest significantly in safeguarding their ticket systems against such automated attacks, current legislation has yet to adequately address this problem.
Expressing surprise at the scale of the bot interference, Raye stated she had “never witnessed bots on this scale” and that she intends to modify future ticketing processes to protect fans. “I’m not sure what the future holds for ticketing, I do know this experience has really opened my eyes,” she shared in a statement posted on her social media platforms. She added that she and her team are committed to carefully considering how to improve the situation going forward.
The fans selected through the manual screening will receive a pre-sale link and unique access code via email at 11:45 BST on Tuesday, with the pre-sale beginning shortly afterward. Any remaining tickets will then be sold during the general sale to the wider public. This concert, titled This Symphony May Contain Hope, will feature tracks from Raye’s recently released second album, This Music May Contain Hope. The 17-song concept record blends elements of old-school jazz, orchestral arrangements, blues, big band, and soul, and delves into themes such as overcoming heartbreak, battling self-doubt, and coping with online trolling
