Daniel Thomas, a 37-year-old activist known among his followers as Danny Tommo, has appeared in court facing several charges related to incidents at a migrant processing site in Dover. According to court records, he is accused of unlawfully entering a restricted area at the centre on 31 March. Additional allegations include using threatening language or behaviour in Dover on 1 April and obstructing someone performing a lawful task on 6 April.
The charges extend to Thomas allegedly entering or remaining within Dover Docks without proper authorization or business. One further accusation involves racially aggravated harassment, supposedly through the use of threatening or abusive words. These claims collectively form the basis of the legal proceedings against him.
During a hearing at Margate Magistrates’ Court, Thomas appeared via videolink, dressed in a grey T-shirt with rosary beads around his neck. District Judge William Nelson has arranged for a case management hearing to be conducted at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 4 November to address the ongoing matter.
Earlier in the week, Thomas was denied bail at a crown court hearing where he faced charges related to the alleged slashing of a dinghy in the English Channel. The proceedings continue as authorities investigate the various accusations connected to his recent actions
