The deceased, Brandram, had a distinguished background, having served as a Captain in the Scots Guards during the Afghanistan conflict. In more recent years, he was employed in private banking with HSBC. Beyond his professional life, Brandram was connected to European royalty; his grandmother was Princess Katherine of Greece, and Prince Philip, the late Duke of Edinburgh, served as his father’s godfather.
Earlier this year, Brandram was taken into police custody following an incident near Putney Bridge in June. During that time, he was also arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs. The circumstances surrounding these events remain part of the ongoing narrative of his life.
