In Doncaster, a tragic incident occurred when a vehicle struck a group of pedestrians, resulting in two fatalities and serious injuries to four others. A black Mitsubishi L200 was involved in the collision, first hitting the pedestrians before continuing on to collide with two other vehicles—a black Audi and a silver BMW—on the opposite side of the road.
Authorities confirmed that the two individuals who were struck by the Mitsubishi lost their lives at the scene. The driver of the Mitsubishi, identified as a 30-year-old man, was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
