The snippet involving King Charles originated from a longer recording of his visit, when he was still the Prince of Wales, to an Asda supermarket distribution center in Bristol in July 2020 amid the Covid pandemic. In the uncut footage, Charles is seen reaching out to the individual as he begins to faint and stays nearby while medical help is administered, contradicting the edited segment shared by Trump which omits these actions.
Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on the matter, while the White House has yet to respond to inquiries regarding the post. The edited video, by removing key moments, creates a misleading impression of the King’s behavior during the incident.
