Double murder investigation launched over two deaths in Glasgow

Police have been conducting an extensive investigation, reviewing hours of both public and private CCTV footage alongside continuing door-to-door inquiries. The two men in question were last seen on Friday morning.

Authorities confirmed that the residence on Chancellor Street, where the bodies were discovered, belonged to one of the victims. It was also established that the two men were acquainted.

Detective Superintendent Cheryl Kelly from the Major Investigations Team issued an appeal, urging anyone with information—no matter how trivial it might seem—to come forward. She emphasized, “Please do not assume that the police already know the information you have.” She is particularly interested in hearing from anyone familiar with Paul and Gary or anyone who was in the Partick area near Chancellor Street from 9:00 a.m. on Friday who might have seen the men or noticed anything suspicious.

Superintendent Craig Brady expressed his condolences to the families and friends affected by the incident and acknowledged the significant impact on the local community.
