Authorities arrested two individuals on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a deceased man at a residence in Southampton during the early hours of Sunday. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary responded to reports of an assault at a property located on Weston Lane at 04:21 BST.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a 45-year-old man from Southampton who was pronounced dead at the location. Subsequently, a 23-year-old woman from Bournemouth and a 54-year-old man from Southampton were found nearby and taken into custody on murder charges.
Both suspects are currently being held in police detention as the investigation progresses. The police have confirmed that inquiries are still underway concerning the circumstances surrounding the death.
