Stephen Bear, a reality television personality, has been sentenced to 16 months in prison after admitting to violating a restraining order that prohibited him from posting online content about his former partner, Georgia Harrison. This court order was initially established following Bear’s 21-month prison sentence in 2023, which came after he secretly filmed and distributed intimate footage of the couple via OnlyFans and WhatsApp without Harrison’s consent.
At 36 years old, Bear was explicitly barred from sharing or encouraging commentary on social media related to the case or Harrison herself. Despite this, during 2025, while Harrison was pregnant, he repeatedly posted about the matter. In a statement read at Chelmsford Crown Court, Harrison described feeling “petrified” by Bear’s activities online and expressed that for the first time she feared for her safety. Bear pleaded guilty to the charge of harassment, specifically the breach of the restraining order, during a hearing held earlier in June.
The judge overseeing both the original trial and the subsequent sentencing, His Honour Judge Christopher Morgan, condemned Bear’s actions, emphasizing that the posts were intended to “ensure the maximum harm [was] caused to Georgia Harrison.” He added, “You knew all of that was untrue, and yet you posted it,” further highlighting the damage Bear inflicted by leaving Harrison vulnerable to anyone who believed his falsehoods. Alongside the new prison term, the judge extended the restraining order to include prohibitions against Bear contacting Harrison’s mother and a friend, pending the issuance of a new order.
Following Bear’s release after serving half of his initial sentence, he began using multiple social media platforms—including Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Facebook—to post harmful messages from March to July 2025. Judge Morgan described these posts as “consistently posted messages of the most abhorrent and harmful type,” and told Bear that his behavior amounted to “simply victim blaming.” Harrison, who did not appear in court, had her statement read aloud by the prosecution, detailing feelings of isolation, exposure, and insecurity. She also requested the restraining order be extended, citing the significant stress the situation caused her during pregnancy, which led to emotional struggles. During sentencing, Bear was accompanied by his wife, who is eight months pregnant. Before entering court, Bear declined to answer questions but gave a thumbs-up and said, “Wish me luck guys.
