A woman aged 47 has been formally charged following a stabbing attack involving four men near Covent Garden in central London. Stella Gollovena, who currently has no fixed address, faces four charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, along with a separate charge for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The police responded to the incident on Endell Street shortly after 12:30 BST on Wednesday. When officers arrived, they found four men aged 34, 39, 42, and 56, each suffering from stab wounds. The injured men were rushed to the hospital where their conditions were assessed as non-life-threatening and not resulting in permanent harm. All four individuals have since been discharged from medical care.
Gollovena was detained at the scene and taken into custody. She is scheduled to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court in an upcoming hearing. The stabbing occurred in a busy area known for its concentration of bars, theatres, and restaurants, popular with both locals and tourists.
