Tristan Angels has transitioned from working on his family’s sheep farm in Dorset to making a name for himself in the wrestling world in the United States. Raised on a farm in Kimmeridge, Tristan’s life took a dramatic turn after attending a wrestling event at Bournemouth Pavilion when he was 18. This experience sparked his passion for wrestling, prompting him to enroll in a wrestling school and start training seriously.
Now, at 23, Tristan regularly appears in WWE’s developmental program NXT, which is available on Netflix. His journey was also boosted by his participation in beauty pageants, specifically the Mister England competition and representing England at Mister International. These opportunities helped launch his wrestling career and build his public profile.
Coming from a family with a rich history in sheep farming, Tristan explained how farming was more than just a profession—it was a way of life. He recalled the responsibilities that came with growing up on the farm, such as opening gates, feeding lambs during lambing season, driving tractors, and shearing sheep. Yet, despite these familiar roots, he has embraced his new lifestyle as a professional wrestler based in Florida.
