Stanley Park Market to host free Family Fun Day

Stanley Park Market is set to hold a Family Fun Day on Wednesday, 29 July, from 11am until 3pm. This event aims to celebrate the lively community market while offering a variety of complimentary activities for families and residents of all ages. It will bring together local organizations, community groups, and services alongside the market’s usual traders, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.

Attendees will have the chance to explore numerous market stalls and connect with local groups. Entertainment and activities will be provided by 0151 Entertainments and will include a land train ride, inflatables, face painting, party games, and a live DJ to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.

Additional highlights include cycling activities hosted by Cycling UK and a children’s activity area facilitated by the Anfield and Everton Family Hub. The National Literacy Trust will present a Story Corner, and there will be opportunities to receive health and wellbeing advice, bike marking, and health checks. Several local partners will be involved, including housing providers, adult social care, social prescribers, disability support services, and Merseyside Police, providing helpful information to visitors.

The event is free for all to attend, welcoming people from across the community.
