A murder charge has been brought against a man following the death of another individual in north Belfast. The victim, Paul Mackin Jr, 44 years old, suffered serious injuries during an assault that took place on Monday at Eithne House, located on Duncairn Parade.
Tragically, Paul Mackin Jr passed away in hospital on Wednesday evening as a result of the injuries he sustained. Authorities have since arrested a 41-year-old man in connection with the incident.
This individual faces several charges, including murder, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and false imprisonment. Legal proceedings are underway, and the accused is scheduled to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
