Kamahl Cameron-Williams, aged 31, has been identified by police as the man who was fatally stabbed in south London. The incident occurred in Crystal Palace on Westow Hill during the early hours of Sunday, 21 June, where emergency services responded to reports of a man suffering from knife wounds. Tragically, Cameron-Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the attack, law enforcement officials have arrested six individuals in connection with the murder investigation. Of these, two suspects—a 21-year-old man arrested on 22 June and a 23-year-old man taken into custody on 23 June—remain detained, while the others, including a 17-year-old boy and three men aged 19, 30, and 45, have been released on bail as inquiries proceed.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee from the Metropolitan Police expressed a strong stance against knife crime, emphasizing that it has “no place for knife crime on our streets.” She also highlighted the ongoing dedication of her team to bringing those liable for Cameron-Williams’s death to justice.
