A fire in west London has tragically claimed the lives of three men, according to the London Fire Brigade. The incident occurred in a single-storey pavilion located on New Zealand Way. The blaze broke out just before 7 pm BST on Saturday, prompting an emergency response.

Firefighters managed to rescue three men from the building during the fire. Despite these efforts, two of the men were declared dead at the location, while the third succumbed to injuries later in hospital, as confirmed by Assistant Commissioner Pat Goulbourne. The fire caused extensive damage, destroying just over half of the pavilion before being contained at 21:25.

A significant response effort was mounted, involving approximately 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines dispatched to the scene. The fire brigade has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze.

At the scene, Assistant Commissioner Goulbourne expressed sorrow over the loss of life, stating, “Sadly, three people have died following a fire on New Zealand Way, White City.” The Metropolitan Police also attended and are assisting the fire brigade with their investigation.
