Woman caught on CCTV kicking £75k McLaren on man's drive in Pembroke

Surveillance footage captured a woman entering a private driveway and repeatedly kicking a £75,000 McLaren 570S parked outside a property. The incident took place at the home of Gareth Edwards, a 33-year-old painting and decorating business owner, located in Bush Hill, Pembroke. Edwards described the attack on his luxury sports car as “shocking behaviour.”

The damage to the McLaren involved two noticeable scratches on the bonnet, which Edwards estimated would require professional repairs costing approximately £300. The unsettling scene unfolded on the morning of June 16, with the woman seen walking along the pavement carrying a shopping bag before stepping onto the driveway and targeting the yellow supercar. Edwards became aware of the situation shortly after, around 08:45 BST.

Reflecting on the event, Edwards expressed his disbelief: “I was just shocked. It’s very strange, such a weird thing to do.” He also remarked on the unusual nature of the incident, saying he “didn’t think there were people like that in the world today.” The damage caused by the kicks, though repairable, left him concerned enough to take precautionary measures.

To protect the vehicle following the attack, Edwards has been keeping the McLaren out of sight by leaving it at a friend’s residence while he is away on holiday. Meanwhile, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed they have launched an investigation after receiving a report of criminal damage to a motor vehicle
