A serious incident occurred at the Partou Sunny Days Nursery and Pre-school located on Vale Road, in the Whitby area of Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Shortly before 09:55 BST, a car crashed through a fence into the nursery’s outdoor playground area, resulting in injuries to children present at the scene. Representatives from the nursery expressed their profound distress over the event. A spokesperson stated, “This is an extremely distressing incident and our immediate focus is supporting the children affected, their families and our colleagues at the nursery.” The nursery is actively working with the families involved to provide support during this difficult time and is cooperating fully with the police and other relevant authorities.
