Liverpool City Council has announced that the Fields of Eire Irish Music Festival, scheduled for June 5 and 6, 2026, will not take place in Newsham Park as originally planned. As the entity responsible for managing Newsham Park, the Council has concluded that it cannot grant a Land Use Agreement for the event.
