A teenage girl, who suffered rape at the hands of two adolescent boys, described the judge’s choice to avoid custodial sentences as a “rock straight in my face” in an exclusive interview with Laura Kuenssberg. A government spokesperson indicated that the Law Officers are carefully examining the case and expressed sympathy for the victims, recognizing the public’s shock over the disturbing details
