Police have provided details of distinctive tattoos found on a man whose body was discovered inside a wheelie bin, as part of their efforts to identify him. The deceased was believed to be between 40 and 50 years old when found at Cash’s Park near Daimler Road in Coventry at 5 pm last Friday.

Investigators suspect the man was struck by a vehicle before his body was moved to the location where a member of the public uncovered him within a bin owned by Coventry City Council, according to West Midlands Police. To assist with identification, authorities have described some of his tattoos, including a cross entwined by a snake on his back, accompanied by the phrase “little stardust.”

He also bore a tattoo on his right arm featuring the word “nan,” alongside a clover and the colors of the Irish flag. Police officers are currently collaborating with local council officials to determine the original location from which the bin was transported.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Poole said the investigation is ongoing, with officers working tirelessly to uncover the identity of the man and the circumstances of his death. He encouraged anyone who recognizes the tattoos or has noticed sudden changes in behavior or unexplained vehicle damage to come forward, emphasizing the importance of bringing those responsible to justice
