Meghan to headline luxury retreat in Sydney with £1,700 per person tickets

The Duchess of Sussex is set to headline an exclusive women-only retreat in Sydney, Australia, scheduled for April this year. The event spans three days, with ticket prices starting at A$2,699 (approximately $1,900 or £1,400). This special gathering coincides with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s visit to Australia, marking seven years since their initial trip in 2018 while they were still serving as senior members of the Royal Family.

Promoted as “a girls’ weekend like no other,” Meghan will be a featured speaker during a gala dinner event. VIP attendees will enjoy premium front-row seating and the opportunity to take a group photo with the duchess. The gathering is limited to 300 participants and is organised by the Her Best Life podcast, which was created by Gemma O’Neill and Australian celebrity Jackie “O” Henderson.

Gemma O’Neill, who now hosts the podcast solo after Henderson stepped down last month, shared the news during a recent episode. She expressed admiration for Meghan’s resilience, stating, “I have admired [Meghan] and what she has endured… and how she has demonstrated how a woman can be pushed down and she can still rise.” O’Neill revealed that a mutual friend of hers who had recently visited Meghan’s home suggested the meeting, which Meghan agreed to as a favor. “She’s effectively doing this as a favour because of our mutual friend,” O’Neill explained, crediting Meghan’s commitment to supporting women striving to be their best selves. Initially hesitant about the offer, O’Neill decided to proceed for the benefit of her listeners, describing the event as an intimate “fireside chat” between herself and Meghan.

The retreat will take place at a luxury hotel in Sydney’s Coogee Beach area and promises a weekend filled with diverse activities. In addition to Meghan’s appearance, attendees can participate in sessions led by a psychologist, engage in yoga, sound healing, meditation, manifestation workshops, and even a disco designed for fun and rejuvenation. VIP tickets are priced at A$3,199 (around $2,300 or £1,700). The Duke and Duchess’s upcoming tour includes a series of private, business, and philanthropic events. Their connection to Australia dates back to their 2018 visit, a widely regarded success involving visits to Bondi Beach, a Sydney Harbour boat ride, and Prince Harry’s climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge alongside then-Prime Minister Scott Morrison. Since stepping back from royal duties and relocating to the US in 2020, partly due to media pressures and familial racism allegations, the couple continues to engage in high-profile projects, including their multi-million-dollar Netflix contract signed in the same year
