A serious road traffic collision in County Tyrone has resulted in three individuals being hospitalized. The incident occurred on the Armagh Road in the Moy area, which police have indicated will remain closed for a considerable length of time.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) reported receiving the emergency call at approximately 22:20 GMT on Saturday night. In response, they dispatched a considerable emergency team including three rapid response paramedics, seven emergency crews, a HART Crew, an ambulance officer, and an ambulance doctor to the scene.
Due to the closure of the Armagh Road, authorities have set up diversions around Lisbofin Road and College Lands Road. Motorists have been advised to find alternative routes to avoid the affected area while the road remains inaccessible.
At the scene, emergency personnel provided initial assessments and treatment before transporting two of the patients to Craigavon Area Hospital, with the third patient taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The police continue to manage the situation as investigations and clear-up efforts are underway
