Time will heal Beckham family relationship, says Gordon Ramsay

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has expressed support for Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, describing them as “good parents” amid the recent public tensions involving their son, Brooklyn Beckham. Ramsay believes that with time, the issues within the family will improve and their relationships will be restored.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn shared on Instagram that he did not wish to reconcile with his family following months of rumors about a family dispute. Alongside this, he made several remarks about his parents, particularly regarding his wedding to actress Nicola Peltz, who is also the daughter of a wealthy businessman. The Beckhams have so far refrained from making an official statement in response to Brooklyn’s allegations.

One of Brooklyn’s most contentious claims accuses Lady Beckham of taking over the first dance at his wedding, which he states had been organized well in advance to be a romantic moment featuring a love song. He described the incident by saying, “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.” However, a British Vogue report from the event described Brooklyn inviting his mother on stage to dance, joined by David Beckham and their daughter Harper, aged ten.

Gordon Ramsay, who attended the wedding, has denied that anything improper occurred, stating in an interview with The Sun that nothing “salacious” or “inappropriate” happened. He highlighted the strong bond between David and Brooklyn, explaining, “the relationship with David and Brooklyn is very, very deep and I know how much David loves Brooklyn.” Ramsay added that he believes Brooklyn will eventually reflect on the situation, noting, “It’s easy to get up on that roller coaster and get carried away, but it will come back.” He also revealed that he has exchanged some messages with Brooklyn and encouraged him to appreciate the importance of family, reminding him, “one day you’re not going to have your Mum and Dad.” Ramsay made these comments ahead of the release of his new Netflix series Being Gordon Ramsay.

While Sir David Beckham has not directly addressed the recent family disputes, he did make a general statement about social media in January, acknowledging that children are “allowed to make mistakes.
